We were friends and neighbors all through high school. After graduation in 1964 we, along with Rick Mathews (another BSHS graduate) enlisted in the USAF. We were together through basic training. Then we were assigned to different technical training schools. Ronnie to helicopters, Rick to motor pool and me to aircraft maintenance. We were all discharged in 1968 after our four years in the AF and went our separate ways. I learned of his death from a mutual neighbor.
